CMaaS - Computer Management as a Service

In the jargon of the day we bring you "Computer Manager as a Service". This is not a virtual cloud concept but a real person with experience of computer management in a range of environments spanning from civil engineering & HVAC service to greeting cards, sticky lable production to consumables marketing, and academia. [Have had a contract with the Oxford University Department of Computer Science to provide strategic input as their Infrastructure Consultant since March 2014]

Issue

Why pay £50-£60k (plus employment costs) for a computer manager when you only need them about 10% of the time?

The Offering

Don't, since you can hire Tranlowe to bring in an experienced computer manager for just that 10% of the time (or whatever seems appropriate)

Tranlowe does not aim to take over or supplant any good support or maintenance relationships you already have but to be on hand to be called in as and when you want a second opinion, be it over who to work with or to help you review their suggested changes, or to mentor your own IT staff.
